MISSION
The Yeshiva High School of Monsey is committed to the development of a well-rounded contemporary bachur by empowering each student with the skills to succeed in Torah learning, and in general society.
The yeshiva works toward this goal by cultivating an enthusiasm for learning, and strong self-esteem. We believe in embracing each student at his own level and catering to his specific goals. Our Limudei Kodesh program prepares students to engage in learning, fostering the skills necessary to learn independently and autonomously.
Our regents-based curriculum includes classes in business and technology. It is designed to prepare our students for successful integration into the business world, including courses in accounting, banking, and money management. The Yeshiva program offers college-level tests toward a degree, all within the framework of a Torah-true environment. We are committed to integrating non-traditional methods of learning, including blended learning, creativity, and collaboration into the curriculum.
The Yeshiva is geared toward bochurim from toradik homes that strive towards excellence in all areas. We are committed to creating a warm, loving environment, as well as encouraging learning b’chavrusa. We offer incentives, extra-curricular activities, Shabbatons and outings to cultivate friendships and camaraderie. Students’ self-esteem is fostered by creating positive relationships with other students and faculty. We invite our parents and teachers to partner with the yeshiva and be actively involved in our students' growth. The Yeshiva stresses the importance of Midos and chesed, honesty and integrity in life and in business. The Yeshiva also recognizes the importance of physical activity and offers a comprehensive gym program.
We aspire to create a highly fulfilling and meaningful high-school experience, helping our talmidim succeed and contribute in any area and path they choose.
